Lomito keeps health processing on device.
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Overview
Lomito is an iPhone app for tracking weekly training time by heart-rate zone. The app reads existing workout and heart-rate data from Apple Health through HealthKit and calculates weekly zone totals locally on your device.
Health data Lomito reads
Lomito requests read access for these Apple Health data types:
- Workouts
- Heart rate
Lomito uses this data to calculate time in heart-rate zones Z1-Z5, weekly Zone 2 progress, workout-type summaries, and recent weekly duration charts.
Health data Lomito does not write
Lomito does not request HealthKit write access in v1. The app does not write workouts, heart-rate data, or zone summaries back to Apple Health.
On-device processing
Workouts, heart-rate samples, and derived zone summaries are processed on your iPhone. Lomito v1 does not upload HealthKit data, does not use cloud sync, and does not require a network service to calculate your weekly training summaries.
Settings and cached summaries
Lomito stores local settings such as tracked zones, weekly targets, BPM thresholds, and cached weekly summaries on your device. These values are used to make week navigation faster and to keep your dashboard configured to your preferences.
Analytics and logs
Lomito v1 avoids analytics that include workout, heart-rate, or health-derived values. The app should not intentionally log personal health data.
Permissions
You can manage Lomito's Apple Health permissions in the Health app on your iPhone. If access is removed, Lomito may be unable to calculate weekly zone totals until access is restored.
